"Tara's brother Scott was returning from duty in Iraq, so she asked me to create a sweet little house for his homecoming. I couldn't stop thinking about how important the comforts of home are when you're away from them for such a long time so I really wanted this cake to convey that feeling -- nothing too fussy, just good old honest comfort."
